[Bug 70082] xorg crashes while opening text file in gedit

Description:

xorg spontaneously restarts after opening the attached file with gedit.


Steps to reproduce:

1) Open the attached text file with gedit
2) Scroll through the file
3) A garbled screen should appear, followed by X server restart and return to the gdm login screen


Unfortunately I don't have much more information I'd be happy to add info about my gedit settings / xorg conf / bugzilla backtrace if needed.
