[Bug 70200] [Edgy] GNOME's volume mixer applet doesn't properly unmute the correct element(s) in a default perspective.

Upon my first initial startup of GNOME I had no sound.  After lots of
tweaking of the applet,  I still had no sound.

It took tweaking of the alsamixer program in the console, and a restart
of the computer to get sound.  The tweaks in alsamixer were no different
than what was done in the GNOME Mixer applet.
