Yeah, I saw that, and that there's apparently a reason for this,
although no real explanation, especially not of what will happen if I
set it manually, nor what the any eventual bad effects would be if
Ubuntu set it by default.

(Gah, it's annoying that rejected bugs don't show up when searching
before reporting).
