The problem is that there are 2 printers magicolor 2430 DL which are not
compatible, the PPD for the older model is located under Minolta and the
PPD for the newer model is located under KonicaMinolta.

According to http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=KonicaMinolta-magicolor_2430_DL:
Note that the older Minolta magicolor 2430 DL and the newer Konica Minolta magicolor 2430 DL are not 100% equal. So it is not sure whether the Minolta magicolor 2430 DL perhaps also works with the driver from Konica Minolta.

Konica Minolta also provides the rastertokmXXXXdl driver for newer
printer models. This driver is released under the GPL, it would be nice
if somebody could package this driver for Ubuntu.
