[Bug 65980] Window List applet title bar does not update window title if it overflows

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

After you have a window with a huge title entry, gnome-panel's window
list applet refuses to update titlebar entry for that application.

To reproduce:
  Visit http://t3.dotgnu.info/code/gnome-panel-bugs.html
  Open another tab to http://launchpad.net
   Switch between tabs, check gnome-panel applet title entry

Since the window switcher (Alt+Tab) gets the right entry, this could be
a gnome-panel applet bug - but this might also be a metacity bug. Please
investigate and reassign if that is the case.
