[Bug 61416] Re: gparted doesn't run in desktop CD

I have the same Problem on installation-process.

In step 5/6 the computer hangs.

It looks like the hds are checks for the next step of partition it.
gparted is till the freez not on screen.

I have the problem with

Ubuntu 6.10 (Edgy Eft) Beta

64-bit PC (AMD64) desktop CD
and
PC (Intel x86) desktop CD


My system:

AMD Athlon 64 3000+
with msi mainboard

MS-7145 with chipset  RS480M    RS482M-IL
