Public bug reported:

When I remove a CD-R/DVD-R from the drive using the "open/close" drive
button, the "Unsafe device removal" notification appears.

I think this notification is useless, because a CD-R/DVD-R is a read-
only medium (I assume the CD/DVD disk is already burned), and therefore
there's no data-loss risk.
