[Bug 66464] Location bar no longer shows up

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus 2.16.1

I have under view->location bar checked, it no longer shows where I
currently am, big pain.  googling reveals nothing, the forums have
nothing and I can find no other bug (tried to do an alt+prtSc with view
open to show that it is really check off, i am in some directory in my
home folder and as you can see, nothing is in the location bar)
