[Bug 66995] Keyrepeat in fresh install

Public bug reported:

I've just installed Xubuntu Edgy 20061710. After installation the systems loads GDM. I try to input my username (matt), but i get some weir key repetition: mmmmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatt or something like that.
by pressing the keys very very very softly i get an ilution of control. But it was almost impossible to input my password.

BTW, when Ctrl+Alt+F1, the login at the terminal works fine.

I have a Celeron 300Mhz, Video Sis6326, din keyboard.
