[Bug 67445] Re: Splash Screen hangs on loading and appears to prevent use of the machine

I recently upgraded to Edgey RC3.  Issues occured to me again 5 minutes
ago.

 I was wondering if it was linked to the screen reader as I loaded that
up and experimented with the screen reader and magnifier the last time
the loading in the default kernel worked.  It crashed while I was
playing with it but the default may have been left on for it to load.
