[Bug 68787] Re: after computer goes to sleep, on wake up no applications can be launched

Update on the above: after about 15 minutes (I was reading a PDF), all applications I had tried to launch before suddenly launched. There is *whatever* stopping them all from launching (happened both times yesterday as well, but I was not patient enough to wait 15 minutes).
After this period, applications launch immediately as usual.
