[Bug 58983] Fails to play at random times

Public bug reported:

At random times rhythmbox will not play any music (have only tried mp3
and ogg). It will load fine and I get no errors. When pressing play it
will jump to the next song as it should, but it will be stuck at time
0:00, and not progress. I can go to the next song, but it will be the
same there.

I have tried to run it in debug mode, and all I can see there that *may* be out of order is this:
(This is while trying to drag the slider - when released it jumps back to 0:00)

I'm not certain that this is related to rhythmbox or not. It could be
problems with my soundcard/machine (I have had some other problems with
the volume keys etc.) - This is a Thinkpad X20.

A restart of rhythmbox does not solve this issue. Playing music with
other apps (beep-music-player, xmms, mplayer) works fine. I have played
with gstreamer settings to no affect.

(latest version of rhythmbox in dapper. Dapper fully up to date).
