[Bug 59546] Double clicking on cpu frequency applet causes session lockup and potential data loss

Binary package hint: gnome-applets

Warning:
Save changes in all open apps before attempting to reproduce this bug.

To reproduce:
Add the cpu frequency applet to a panel.
Double click on the applet.

Result:
Mouse becomes a hand, as it does when moving the panel, but the panel does not move.
There is no way to get focus back to any program in the session.
Session must be killed with ctrl+alt+backspace.

Expected result:
Double click does nothing.
