Public bug reported:

Hi.
If i start 'shared folders' via 'System -> Administration' i have to enter my root password. This means that i am running the program with root permissions. Sometimes i want to create a new folder to instantly share it with the network. 'Shared Folders' delivers an option to browse the system and to select a folder in order to share it with the network. The same dialogue offers the option to create a new folder. But if one makes use of that option the folder is created by root and therefore is owned by root because root did run the program. That may cause little problems because one may not realize that root owns the newly created folder.

I know this is only a less important issue but i wanted to make you
aware of it and i wanted to try this filebug feature. ;)

yours sincerly,
Christopher Denter.
