This is the folder structure of my IMAP Server (cyrus too)

INBOX
+Foo
+Bar
+Bla
++Bla
sys
+adm
teaching
+courses
projects
+a
+b
general
+fun

etc.pp.

With the IMAP protocoll you have only access to one of them. (e.g.
INBOX+sys), but not to all. You can't subscribe to the other folders.
With IMAP4v1 you can give the namespace "." and then you can subscribe
to every folder you like.
