[Bug 61161] Evince takes a long time to render pages in PDF documents

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

When opening a PDF document, evince takes a long time to render each
page -- anywhere from 5 to 15 seconds per page.  Before upgrading to
edgy this took only two or three seconds.

Specifically this happens with PDF documents from here:
