Do you mean the Abiword at "actual size" doesn't show the same size as
if you put a page up to your monitor?

Due to the various difficulties with measuring actual size of pixels, I
doubt you'll be able to convince the Abiword developers to make this
work well.  However, http://bugzilla.abisource.com/show_bug.cgi?id=3547
seems to address your problem.
