[Bug 63143] problems with rhythmbox and xubuntu 6.06

I have problems to run rhythmbox under xubuntu 6.06 because it is very slow.
Using "strace rhythmbox", I get the following output:

It seems that rhythmbox tries to get the status of the cdrom-drive
endlessly often. If I put a cdrom in the drive, rhythmbox can be used
without any problems. I try to unistall and reinstall rhythmbox again
and I deleted all config-files in my home-directory, but the problem
can't be fixed.
