I checked file roller 2.17.2 source(http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/sources/file-roller/2.17/file- roller-2.17.2.tar.gz). It is patched. -- File-roller gives IDP error on extracting turkish .rar file https://launchpad.net/bugs/75816
