[Bug 85932] Terminal font appears to be slightly fuzzy/blurry

I booted Ubuntu Feisty Herd 4's "Desktop" CD.  When I click the
"Applications" menu and then under "Accessories" click "Terminal" and
basically do stuff on the shell (like run "top", for instance), fonts
appear to be a bit fuzzy in Gnome Terminal 2.17.91 on my 17 inch CRT
monitor.  In an older Ubuntu (6.06), gnome terminal wasn't fuzzy like it
is now in Feisty.
