Thank you for your bug. The bug tracker is not a place where to ask user
questions like that, you probably want to use
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+tickets rather. Note that the
feisty version of Evolution has menu items to backup and restore your
settings which will probably be a better way to do that. The error you
copied is clear enough "tar: .gnome2_private/evolution: Cannot stat: No
such file or directory", there is no .gnome2_private/evolution
directory, you probably want to try with .gnome2_private/Evolution
