[Bug 87828] search as you type does not open the selection in list view

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

search as you type feature does not work in nautilus list view
(works ok in icon view), nautilus 2.14.3, dapper drake

the bug has been resolved and patch supplied at
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=334928

i suggest to include this patch into official repositories of dapper

incremental find (search as you type) does not open the selected file or folder
when enter is pressed

Steps to reproduce:
1. visit a folder in list view
2. type some letters to select one of the files or folders
3. press enter


Actual results:
the incremental search box disappears, and the file/folder is selected

Expected results:
the same thing, plus, open the file/folder

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
This is the default behavior of the icon view in nautilus, it just doesn't open
the file when using the list view.
