Thought I'd drop by to let you know: after resetting my Gnome configuration to defaults this problem has been fixed. Presumably it's a custom configuration that wasn't an issue in Dapper, but is in Edgy. -- [Edgy] Nautilus randomly opens home folder lots https://launchpad.net/bugs/67370
