[Bug 77415] Screen not properly redrawn on desktop change, if a system dialog is shown

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg

System: Edgy, xserver-xorg 7.1.1, Dell Inspiron 9300, Radeon Mobility M300
Steps to reproduce:
    1) Login
    2) Bring up a system dialog (by pressing the power button, or selecting something that requires a password from System > Administration, so that a password dialog comes up, and the desktop is darkened)
    3) Switch to a second desktop
    4) Switch back to the first desktop

** Affects: gnome-session (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Confirmed
