[Bug 88939] Internet time clock crashes gnome-panel

Public bug reported:

On an up to date Feisty:
* Add clock applet to panel if not there already
* Rightclick on it and go to Preferences
* Set Clock type to Internet time

The applet makes the whole gnome-panel stop and restart a few times
until it's gone for good.
