[Bug 90195] Opening folder in ~/Desktop leads to optical drive spinning up

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

On my desktop I have two icons visible; the contents of the DVD-ROM
drive ("Ubuntu 7.04 i386") and a directory/folder containing files
("foobar"), this folder is stored on the hard-disk in my home directory.

If I double-click on this folder to open it, the optical drive in the
computer is spun up.

Ideally, unless the optical drive is opened directly, the drive would
not need to be accessed and so not spun up.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
