This upload fixes the bug:

 gdm (2.18.0-0ubuntu1) feisty; urgency=low

   * New upstream version:
     - Fix gdmchooser so the Cancel button works. (Ubuntu: #87026)
     - Fix desktop files so they include "GNOME" and "GTK"
       and remove  "Application". Fixes bug #417350.
       Now gdmsetup uses the full path in Exec, not just TryExec, so that
       if gdmsetup isn't in the user's PATH it will still work.
     - Update of ConsoleKit parameter names.  Fixes enhancement request #415181.
     - Fix memory leaks.
     - Translation updates
   * debian/patches/04_menu_changes.patch:
     - updated, list all the .desktop changes there
   * debian/patches/07_ssh_desktop.patch
     debian/patches/09_desktop.patch,
     debian/patches/09_menu_change.patch:
     - dropped, changes are listed to 04_menu_changes now
   * debian/patches/06_no_conffile_diff_due_to_comment_change.patch:
     - dropped, the new versions has extra changes which can be useful
