For me, that doesn't quite do it. After installing python-gtkglext (from glchess' Sourceforge page), I still can't run in 3D. The message mentions also needing "OpenGL Python bindings" (assumedly http://pyopengl.sourceforge.net?). -- glChess has no 3D https://launchpad.net/bugs/71593
