Yes, only using a build.  Either the "Main Menu"  or "Menu Bar" applet,
both do the same thing.  Changing that gconf key doesn't have any
effect, and I did restart the computer to make sure.

The "Quit" option simply doesn't exist with the build versions.  I even
downloaded a newer version of the source but with the same result.
