"This isn't a gconf warning. It's a warning issued by libebook (e-d-s) when you
call e_book_get_self with no self contact created. Since there isn't any other
API afaics to find out whether it is available before calling get_self(), I
don't see any way we could avoid this warning. Moving to e-d-s since that is
where printing that warning to the console needs to be removed."
