Public bug reported:

My NoteBook has integrated wireless-lan support that can be en/disabled
via a hardware button. If I choose gnome-panel applet Network Monitor
(not quite sure about the name, it is "Netzwerküberwachung 2.12.0" in
German, but there is absolutely no way to find out the English name) to
monitor the wirless connection everything is fine. However if I disable
wireless lan and left click the panel icon then, I get a message with no
caption and only a close button:

"Bitte kontaktieren Sie Ihren Systemadministrator, um folgende Probleme zu lösen:
SIOCGIFFLAGS-Fehler: No such device" (Please contact your System Administrator to solve the following problem: ...)

I don't think that's the ideal message in this case...

** Affects: gnome-netstatus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Confirmed
