[Bug 94059] gnome-panel with orientation on right after auto hide wont appear

Gnome panel 2.18 on feisty fails to un hide if compiz is used.
It comes up sometimes, but not all the time. I use Nvidia Geforce MX 4000.
I found that if I use metacity it works.
Please let me know if you need any logs or details.
