I followed the instructions on the page linked, and have obtained two
backtraces, although I am not sure of their usefulness, as the program
didn't crash in any of the two periods I had attached the gdb. But
anyway, here they are, also included are two screenshots, both showing
what I mean, also note the system monitor in the taskbar: nearly all
that processor usage is g-s-m.
