[Bug 94656] Re: older cards fail Feisty default GDM install

I use the default Ubuntu-installed ATI driver. I'm not really that
experienced in Ubuntu, but when I installed the beta of Feisty, once the
loading screen was done it crashed before I got to log in. I don't use
xgl. My video card is an ATI mobility Radeon 7500.

When I try to open desktop-effects i receive the following error: "The
composite extension is not available"
