[Bug 95211] crash when talking to a specific contact

Hi, Gaim crashes in my girlfriend's box with Xubuntu 6.10 when she chats
to a specific contact. It never happened before and it doesn't happen
with anyone else.

I'm not used to Xubuntu at all so I'm not too sure what I should do, but
I'm attaching the result the terminal returns:

Fallo de segmentación (core dumped)

These ALSA messages lead me to think that it's related to the sound
card, which would make sense since it's an old unsupported one -that is,
the computer has no sound- but I checked the "no sound" option in Gaim
and I still get the crash.
