[Bug 95414] gedit unable to open files on samba shares (7.04 Beta)

Binary package hint: gedit

When attempting to open a text file (via nautilus) on a samba share,
gedit displays the following error:

Could not open file: smb://...
Unexpected Internal Error

OpenOffice is able to open its files on the same share without problems.
