Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gparted

This applies to starting gparted from the gnome panel as well as out of
the installer.

gparted will only offer to erase the whole disk (possibly with a BIOS
disklabel?)

Kernel-wise, the mac disklabel has been recognized -- i can prepare the
partitions with mkswap and mkreiserfs and mount them.

Doing this and skipping the gparted step in the installer, i can choose
the partitions in the next step of the installation wizard, i can assign
a mountpoint and check/uncheck for filesystem creation, but i can NOT
continue because the "next" button in the wizard will stay gray. Maybe
this is related...

** Affects: gparted (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
