[Bug 96493] ALSA related crash in Gaim

I was running only Firefox 2.0.0.2, Wine running a uTorrent window, and
Terminal.

During the conversation with a friend, the GAIM client locked up. I
would do a force quit but on relaunching it with Terminal rather than
the icon on the top bar... Terminal reports this:

ALSA snd_pcm_open error: Device or resource busy
ALSA snd_pcm_open error: Device or resource busy
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I wasn't using anything sound related at the time, no web flash
animations were open.
