[Bug 96719] "File System" not in gtk open/save dialogs: inconsistency.

After upgrading from Edgy to Feisty:

1) I do not have a "File System" bookmark in the gnome-panel places.

2) The bookmarks in nautilus places show

File System

3) The bookmarks in gtk open/save dialogs show

Home
Desktop
dev
Network Servers


Where is File System in the gtk open/save dialogs?  It is difficult (sometimes impossible) to open files/folders in the root directory without a link pointing there.

Also, where is Network Servers in nautilus?  These things should be
consistent.

Also, what is dev?  Is it a bug or part of Feisty Beta?
