Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
I cannot select which song to play. Upon opening, I can hit the "play"
button once, and it will start playing the selected song. Double
clicking on songs does not cause playback to start. (I recall that this
used to work...)
Also once it has started playing, I cannot switch which song is playing
at all. (again double clicking on songs does not work)
The only way I can get a particular song to play by adding it to the
play queue. I don't think this is the intended behavior. What's the
point of creating playlists if I just have to copy that playlist to the
play queue in its entirety anyway?
These behavior changes occured while I was using 0.9.6 with edgy. I
tried removing the rhythmbox config (.gnome2/rhythmbox), this had no
effect. I then upgraded edgy -> feisty (rhythmbox 0.9.8) and this
behavior is unchanged.
