[Bug 97463] No Volume Control In totem-xine

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

On my main desktop system, Totem-xine has its volume control disabled
and greyed out. MPlayer works fine. I can still hear sound though when I
play a video in Totem-xine, however if its an AVI file no sound is heard
at all even though I have the correct codecs.
