This is my feeling as well.
This is an emotive subject and I am not sure we should venture there.

However adding requested packages to universe (whether related to
religion, politics or sex (ed)) is appropriate. This will allow users to
pick and chose as per their requirements and set of beliefs and customs.

Incidentally in SA, in the government run schools, they teach *about*
the various religions, but there is no religious *instruction*. The
school will teach a bit about Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Christianity
etc. This focuses on the history, customs and festivals etc, and about
tolerance and understanding of each. It is up to each family to decide
which (if any) religion they will follow and practise.
