Auto Login with Dapper...

I'm trying to get a system setup so that the "student" account
automatically logs in when the sytem boots.  With Breezy I edited
/etc/gdm/gdm.conf and set

AutomaticLoginEnable=true
AutomaticLogin=student

copying this file to the Dapper system doesn't seem to work, no
errors, but no AutomaticLogin either (though "student" can login).

anyone know what changed that could cause this?
