With 4gb, you could theorically run 40 clients (512 + 50 / TX).

But all elements have to be fast :
- 100 mb ethernet switch
- one or two Sata/scsii hard disks

I think you could buy network card able to boot in pxe (if the client
runs out, you can get back the network card).
