The first thing to do is get ldm2 localised completely into French.  I have
attached the de.po file which gives German localisation.  If you can rename
it to fr.po, change the strings to the French and send it to Oliver or
Scott Balneaves, I presume they would take it and add it to the official
package so it will be available in French in hardy.  There's presumably a
proper way to do this in launchpad too.

You may be able to just rebuild the ldm2 package from source with your
fr.po in place in the po/ directory, I'm not sure.  I can give you
instructions for that if you like.
