I seem to remember this question coming up before, and someone suggested 
placing a command in the logout script to copy the default profile back 
to the user.  (I don't keep a large archive of this list on my computer, 
so I can't find the actual message.)  I did find this link that 
describes where it's located (/etc/skel) as well as a program that may 
help with what you're looking for.
