Not often but is does. Sometimes the only thing that
moves is the mouse.

I've tested on celeron 466 mouse keyboard ps2

I've tested on two pcs celeron 466 , same motherboard,
sound card es1371 and network card realtek 8139
compatible, Ram 256 MB. In the same server I've have
installed dapper working in a real situacion
(classroom 1 server and 8 thin clients) sometimes also
freezes but not to the point to be a problem. I mean,
if a thin client freezes the students just reboot it.

 Yes, I have.

Turning off the sound the problem remains.
I appreciate very much your help. I'm going to
reinstall the server again and check if the problem
repeats in the same way.
