gutsy kiosk mode

Hi David,

I had built a vlc server/client streaming system in my classroom with feisty. I wasn´t necessary to change something like ip forwarding/NAT or something else. 

I tried your advice

But there doesn´t exist a file /etc/network/options you can edit?

So I used
sudo sh -c 'echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward'
and 
sudo iptables --table nat --append POSTROUTING --jump MASQUERADE  --source 192.168.0.0/24
No success

I installed apache2 (server-side), now I could see the startpage (192.168.0.254) in firefox (client-side) but no internet.
