There may also be a problem with gateway settings for your thin client. 
It would use the server as the gateway (I assume). I am not sure if 
those should be set automatically or if they can be set manually. Again, 
just suggestions/kibitzing of things to check (which you probably 
already know about). I am not dealing with the same issues.
