thanks for following up.  is your server intel or amd?  also, what language is the wiki in - i might be able to translate it.

are you suggesting i set up ubuntu on the server and install ltsp and all the other software individually?

Do you have now that internet connect? I got Intel based P4 client 
working just fine with vanilla Ubuntu 7.10 x86_64.
